Ok,ok I know, I know I promised Part 2 a long time ago(shit what am I writing a Dr.Seuss book) but it turns out that Part 2 needed some mass editing and I like deleted a page and half of it because, well, it seemed to be dragging.

So Part 2 has taken me a bit longer to finish then originally intend and I’m sorry for that…

However it should be hopefully -if Night and Kyle give me a bit of leeway and come back from whatever vacation they are on…- I should be done with it by Tuesday and posted on here by Thursday 😀 Yay!

Oh and this week should be awesome! There will be four authors I have yet to meet in my area on Thursday and Saturday.
Lets just say this writer is well…excited and hopefully these encounters will give me more inspiration for blog posts since I have been sucking at it.

N00b staus for the win!

It’s been a while

It’s been awhile since I posted last. So let me tell you what I have been up to. There is nothing really new since the last time I posted but I did discover this writers meme I thought was super cool and I like to share it with you.

As I was browsing Deviant art I came a crossed this meme for writers. The meme basically states that you put your music player (in my case my ipod) on shuffle, pick two characters(yours or fanfic) and write to the music. Sounds easy enough right?

To be honest it’s kind of a pain in the ass. And here’s why.

You have to adapt to each song, each section of you story has to end with that song(no adding to it after wards, no going back), you can’t skip a song just because it doesn’t fit, you have to keep your original story line going, and you have to do this for 10 songs.

I was like “Ok it sounds fun” so I tried it. The first couple songs it was hard to adapt to the music, to try and fix the story, so to speak, to fit the music I was listening too. But after song 3 it became easier to adapt and I think it turned out great actually!  It went from a fight scene to being all a dream. However the second time I did this meme it was super hard. It went from “Life Starts Now” a song by Three Days Grace to a song from Breath Carolina called “Velvet” (which I have never heard before and is about a girl stripping for her boyfriend….) let’s just say that story I cheated on…

So I really encouraging you to try it especially if your like me and music is a heavy influence in your writing. It’s hard and it definitely works your brain but it’s a lot of fun. Even if you get a crazy play list of a mosh pit of genres.

Oh and by the way I have finished part 2 of my Silver Tear story. I will post in the next few days after I edit it in word.

Have a good day 😀

Is this happening to you?

Ok so I thought this would work but every time I personally click the link for my story it doesn’t show because of my content 😦  (It could be because I’m trying to access it mobily.)

Is anyone else having this problem or can you turn it off?

I don’t want you guys to have to sign up to read my short story because that would suck.

If it’s not working and you can’t shut it off without signing up let me know and I will post a different link this time to my st.ash and we’ll see of that works.

Short story

So I’m still not entirely sure how to post stories on here just yet. So I posted my short story on my Deviantart account and have decided to put a link here since its six pages long on word….

This short story all started with a picture of a girl running away from an umbrella. My sadistic brain turned it and came up with this lovely piece. Which in the end I am quite proud of.

So for part one just click the lovely blue rose.

Its been a few days

So hello again, It has been a while since I have posted (only a couple days).

I figured i would tell you about my latest adventuring to the middle of no where (I seriously thought I was lost like six times and drove straight through two towns to get there) to meet Charles De Lint and Charles Vess. It was really fun.

He talked about his new book Seven Wild Sisters, sang some songs that he and his wife had wrote for it. Charles Vess did an art show and told us about how he got started in the illustrating business and how he did work for Marvel and DC.They talked about the collaborative process and how they worked together to create Seven wild sisters .

Afterward they did a signing and asked questions. So of course I waited until everyone had left to get my books signed.

He was a cool guy.  He told me to do independent publishing instead of publishing companies. He said they take a huge chunk of money and all they really do is market your book. He also told me to seek an artist that charges by the art work and does not take a percentage from your book. And told me when I get something done to contact him if I want someone to read it So that’s awesome.

In the long run it was awesome and I got a stack of signed goodies. Well worth the 2 hour drive.

I think I have figured this out??

So yesterday I spent all day clicking buttons and trying to figured out how this website works. I think I may have figured out some of it, like how to create pages which I still don’t entirely know but I think I have kind of figured it out.

So hopefully I will post something here soon for you to read that’s not just me being “Oh what do i do?” and “Oh so that what that does”

I get to meet Charles De Lint tonight at a meet the author. So that should be interesting, maybe I will post some of the knowledge I gain on here. 😀

Hi. Hello….oh gezz

I have no idea what I am doing! >.<;

But I guess we all start out that way huh?

Well so….where to start….I’m reading this book right now called Show Your Work by Austin Kleon (If you’re an artist you should read these books, Steal Like an Artist is the first one) In the back of the book there is a prompt that says:

“Go online and post what you’re working on right now with the tag #showyourwork”

So I did, It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, baring my soul, there out in the open naked and vulnerable. And then This women (me) tried to post it on Facebook (silly me) and unfortunately and sadly….*sigh* I got no response, however I may have disturbed some people lol So one point for ME! YAY!

Myself: 1 – Facebook peeps: 0

But then I was on my Deviantart and discovered that one of the lovely ladies I watch, Kyou, started one of these blogs for her story ( (she is amazing).  So I figured I would give it a try because hey what the hell 😀 it’ll be fun yeah?

…..I hope…..
